THE BUNISHER Issue 5

First published as The Virginia Gallery #5 in Summer 2002.

Written, drawn and lettered by Gordon Johnston. Fonts by Blambot. The poem Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep (1932) has been accredited to Clara Harner Lyon and Mary Elizabeth Frye. The account of the Wolves of Paris is based on a true story.

This story has recounted the last 4 days in the life of the Rabbit:

On the first day, the Rabbit was involved in a Gang related siege. On the second day, the Rabbit saved  young girl, Sarah, from three muggers in the forest.

On the third day, Detective David ‘Chewie’ Elliot went against orders to investigate these mysterious events, and met with a stranger named Courtaut, who warned him of the danger posed by the beast he hunted. Chewie was reprimanded by Inspector Cherry, whose covert group were also investigating the case. Later, the covert team caught up with the Rabbit in a deserted warehouse. Although the beast was badly injured in the ensuing battle, it managed to escape and began to search for a new shelter.

It is now the fourth and final day…
