CREATORS BIOS

El Gordo (aka Gordon Johnston) has been intermittently creating small-press comics for over 20 years, working both on solo projects and in collaboration with other creators. With Hot Schitt and Lang Walk Hame, Gordon has exhibited at Glasgow Comic Con, Birmingam I.C.E. and the Lakes International Comics Expo.

El Gordo is a keen reader of mainstream and indie comics, and keeps a blog of his reading recommendations: This Week Gordon Has Mostly Been Reading.

El Gordo is the founder and admin of Comix Galore. He lives in Bearsden, Glasgow with his wife, son and daughter.
